What happens during the 15 minute consultation?
Our first conversation provides an opportunity for you to get a feel for what it is like to work with me. It is important for you to feel comfortable and confident you can talk to me. I will also know if I have the right skillset to help you. We will set up a brief conversation over the phone to discuss whats brought you to counselling and how counselling might support you. By the end of our conversation, we will have a good sense if we work well together.

Im nervous about talking, will online therapy help me?
If you are nervous about face to face appointments, or find it difficult to leave your house because of agoraphobia, or suffer from social anxiety, online counselling may offer you a more comfortable alternative to face to face sessions.
Is online therapy as good as face to face appointments?
Online Therapy is just as effective as traditional face to face sessions. In some cases online work can be better, due to it being easier to access, and a disinhibition affect of talking on the phone/ at a distance can help people feel more comfortable talking to someone.
