Living with a Phobia or Traumatic Memory
Do you find thoughts intrude on you when you’re thinking about something else?
Do you have nightmares?
Do you ever re-experience the traumatic event almost as if it is happening again?
Or perhaps memories of the trauma feel really recent when the memories come to mind even if it happened a long time ago.
It has long been recognised that people who have been through very traumatic experiences often need help if they are to recover fully.
